CEO Message

I would first like to begin by extending a warm welcome to the new employees who have just joined Dalmac and following up with a likewise equally warm greeting to all our existing and not so new employees.  I am especially grateful to all our employees for their hard work and commitments which has made much of Dalmac’s success possible.

After a couple of difficult years we have managed to turn things around and put Dalmac’s financial position well into positive territory. It is with recognition of the necessary sustained effort on behalf of all employees and staff by way of looking for ways to be more efficient and productive while continuing to provide a high level of service to our customers that has placed Dalmac in our current position. Over the past year this combination of effort has helped us achieve a level of profitability that we need to continue growing our company, and has positioned Dalmac to achieve record revenues and earnings in fiscal 2012.

Moreover, I am proud of the teamwork and commitment demonstrated by all our employees which has helped to give us an advantage over our competitors. We have demonstrated an ability to meet our challenges “head on” and do what it takes to get the job done. As a result, our customers know they can count on our people and our services to help them get their job done safely and efficiently and for this I thank you.

As we move into our new fiscal year, I am cognizant of the new challenges and opportunities presenting themselves. We have laboured hard to get ourselves ready. We have spared little expense in bolstering our operational, health and safety procedures to make Dalmac one of the safest companies in our industry. Even though this is still an ongoing process, I am grateful for all the hard work and efforts of everybody involved to make this come about.  I believe we have the potential to be successful because of our talented team which has shown the ability to rise and meet the toughest challenges. It gives me a lot of comfort to know that Dalmac Oilfield Services Inc. has one of the best teams in the industry.

Despite all our commitments to working safely while protecting the environment, success cannot be achieved nor sustained without giving the proper respect and recognition to our customers. I am forever cognisant of the humbling advice given by a man who achieved a lot by his commitment to the service of his customers:

“There is only one boss: the customer. And he can fire everybody in the company from the chairman on down, simply by spending his money somewhere else.”  Sam Walton

If there ever was a prescription for success it most probably included something of the aforementioned.

I look forward to working jointly with all our business partners making this upcoming year even more successful and rewarding than the preceding one.
